May 28th 2020 should have been Stage 18 of the Giro d'Italia, "The Mighty Stelvio". Except of course it's not. But that hasn't stopped Castelli launching a rather classy cycling jersey inspired by the monster 48-switchback climb.
The jersey follows the contours of the 2758m ascent, with gold and grey against a very dark blue (looks black in the photos) base. It's an attractive cycling jersey, although looks a bit more 'club fit' than second-skin racer. I guess aero is less important when you're climbing at less than 20kph!
Castelli says the jersey is made from recycled materials, which has to be a good thing.
Whether you've climbed it yourself and want to brag, or simply like the design, you can find more details about the Stelvio Jersey online on the Castelli site. Prices vary online between £80-90.
